Road
National Highway No. 8 which connects Delhi and Mumbai, passes though Ahmedabad. Ahmedabad is directly connected by highways to Bhavnagar, Nadiad, Mehsana, Surendranagar, Bhuj, Rajkot and Gandhinagar.
